Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
We try to collect as little as possible and tell you exactly what we do. If you read one section, read this one.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you subscribe to the Weekly Stack or save a coupon for an expiry alert.
- Anonymized click logs — when you click through to a store via our redirect, we record the coupon ID and a salted hash of your IP. We don't store raw IP addresses.
- "Did it work?" votes — we save the vote against a salted IP hash so we can dedupe, never the raw IP.
- Cookies for theme preference and locale — purely functional, no tracking.
What we don't collect
- — Your name, address, phone number, or payment details. We never see those.
- — Browsing history outside of CouponsJet.
- — Cross-site identifiers or fingerprinting signals.
How we use it
- — To send the Weekly Stack newsletter you subscribed to. Unsubscribe in one tap.
- — To compute aggregate "success rate" numbers shown on coupons.
- — To detect bot/spam abuse on the submit form and feedback votes.
Who we share it with
Our email service provider (used to send the Weekly Stack) and our hosting provider — and that's it. We do not sell your email or hand it to anyone for marketing.
Affiliate networks & click tracking
When you click through to a partner store, that store may set its own cookies to attribute the referral. Those cookies are governed by the destination store's privacy policy, not ours.
Your rights
You can delete your subscription email at any time by clicking unsubscribe on any newsletter, or by emailing privacy@couponsjet.com. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA — message us and we'll honor them.
Children
CouponsJet is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, the "Last updated" date above changes. Material changes are announced in the Weekly Stack at least 14 days before they take effect.
